Welcome to Leading Beyond Limits. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of leadingbeyondlimits.com (the “Site”) and your purchase or participation in any product, service, course, workshop, coaching engagement, consulting engagement, or event offered by Leading Beyond Limits LLC (“Leading Beyond Limits,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
The Leadership Hub (hub.leadingbeyondlimits.com) operates under its own separate Terms and Conditions. Please review the Leadership Hub Terms for purchases or use of that platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site, registering for a course, workshop, or engagement, or purchasing a product, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you have authority to enter into these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
About Our Offerings
Leading Beyond Limits provides:
• Leadership workshops and cohort programs — both virtual and in-person
• Consulting and advisory engagements — including organizational transformation, leadership strategy, and enterprise change initiatives
• The Leadership Hub — a self-paced online learning platform with separate terms (see hub.leadingbeyondlimits.com)
• Mindful Leader™ resources & services — consulting strategy, frameworks, downloadable tools, and digital products
• The Empathy Conversation Prompts™ — a physical product designed to support workplace communication and connection
• SAFe® and Agile certification courses — including SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, and related credentials
• 1:1 and team coaching engagements
SAFe® and Agile Certification Courses
Course Delivery. Certification courses are delivered virtually or in person as specified at the time of registration. Materials, schedules, and instructors are subject to change. We will notify registered learners of material changes as soon as practicable.
Attendance Requirement. Most SAFe® certifications require 100% attendance of the course to be eligible to sit for the certification exam. Partial attendance may result in ineligibility for the exam and no refund will be issued for attendance-related disqualification.
- Full Attendance Requirement: You must attend every session in its entirety to be eligible to take the certification exam.
- Missed Sessions: If any session is missed, regardless of the reason, you will forfeit your eligibility to sit for the exam and, unfortunately, your training cost will not be refunded.
Cancellation and Refund Eligibility
At Leading Beyond Limits, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional learning experience tailored to meet your needs. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and while we aim to offer as much flexibility as possible, we also need to ensure fairness and consistency for all our learners. Our refund and cancellation policy reflects this balance, designed to accommodate your needs while maintaining the integrity of our training commitments.
- No-shows: no refund and no transfer.
- Within 10 Days of Scheduled Training: We understand that last-minute changes can happen, but unfortunately, cancellations made within 10 days of the scheduled training are not eligible for a refund.
- Prior to 10 Days of Scheduled Training: If you need to cancel more than 10 calendar days before the start date of your training, we’re happy to offer a full refund of your booking fees. Please note that transaction processing charges will apply:
- 10% of the total course fees for payments made via PayPal.
- 5% of the total course fees for payments made through all other gateways.
- If Leading Beyond Limits cancels a course, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another scheduled course.
Requesting a Change in Training Dates
We know plans can shift, and we’re here to help. If you need to change your training dates, please reach out to us at agile@leadingbeyondlimits.com. We’ll do our best to find you a spot in an upcoming training batch that fits your schedule. | Dates can only be changed prior to 7 days of the course start.
Refund Processing
- Mode of Refund: Any refunds will be processed using the same method of payment you used for booking.
- Processing Time: Once your cancellation request is confirmed, we will process your refund within 15 days.
At Leading Beyond Limits, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any class if necessary. This could be due to a variety of factors, such as insufficient registrations, trainer availability, or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we will work with you to either reschedule or issue a full refund.

Workshops, Cohort Programs, and Retreats
Engagement Terms. Workshops, cohort programs, and retreats are delivered under a separate written agreement, statement of work, or registration confirmation between Leading Beyond Limits and the client or participant.
Cancellation and Refund Policy. Cancellation, rescheduling, transfer, and refund terms are defined in the individual contract, statement of work, or registration confirmation governing each engagement. The terms of that document control. If no separate terms are specified, cancellations within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable.
In-Person Events. Travel, lodging, and meals are the participant’s responsibility unless explicitly included in the program description. Leading Beyond Limits is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred as a result of program changes or cancellations.
Program Changes. We reserve the right to modify dates, locations, agendas, or facilitators. Material changes will be communicated as soon as practicable.
Consulting and Advisory Engagements
Consulting engagements are governed by a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or Master Services Agreement (MSA) executed between Leading Beyond Limits and the client. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and an executed SOW or MSA, the SOW or MSA shall control with respect to that engagement.
Payment terms, invoicing schedule, and any late-payment charges are defined in the individual SOW or MSA governing each engagement.
Coaching Engagements
Scope. Coaching engagements are delivered 1:1 or in a team format under a written coaching agreement. Coaching is a developmental conversation and is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical advice, or legal/financial advice.
Confidentiality. Coaching conversations are confidential except where required by law or where the client is sponsored by an employer and progress/attendance has been agreed to be shared.
Cancellation and Rescheduling. Individual coaching sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled at no charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed will be forfeited.
Package Refunds. Coaching packages are non-refundable once the first session has been delivered. Unused sessions must be used within the engagement window agreed in writing.
Empathy Conversation Prompts™ (Physical Product)
Product. Empathy Conversation Prompts™ is a physical card deck shipped to the address you provide at checkout.
Pricing and Sales Tax. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude shipping. Sales tax is added where required by law based on the shipping address.
Shipping.
• Orders are processed within 2–3 business days.
• Domestic U.S. shipping is delivered via USPS, UPS, or FedEx; estimated delivery is 3–7 business days after processing.
• International shipping is available to select countries; estimated delivery is 10–21 business days after processing.
• International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Returns and Refunds.
• The deck must remain unopened, sealed, and in its original packaging to qualify for a return. Once the deck has been opened, used, or removed from its packaging, it is no longer eligible for return or refund.
• Eligible returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery and will receive a full refund of the product price (shipping non-refundable).
• Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect.
• To initiate a return, email support@leadingbeyondlimits.com with your order number before sending the deck back. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned product in its original sealed condition.
Damaged or Lost Shipments. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within 14 business days of the estimated delivery date (domestic) or 28 business days (international), contact us at support@leadingbeyondlimits.com with your order number and photos (if damaged). We will replace or refund the order at our discretion.
Wholesale and Bulk Orders. Bulk pricing is available. Custom and bulk orders have separate terms outlined in the bulk order agreement and may be non-returnable.
Mindful Leader™ Resources and Digital Downloads
Digital products (e-books, frameworks, downloadable worksheets, templates) are licensed for personal or internal organizational use by the purchaser. They may not be resold, redistributed, republished, or used to create derivative products for resale.
Refund Policy. Digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, except where required by law.
Payment
Leading Beyond Limits does not process payments directly on leadingbeyondlimits.com. All product purchases (including Empathy Conversation Prompts™ and self-paced courses) are completed on hub.leadingbeyondlimits.com (The Leadership Hub), where payments are processed securely by Stripe. Workshops, consulting, and coaching engagements are invoiced and paid under the terms of the applicable contract, SOW, or registration confirmation.
By providing payment information, you authorize Leading Beyond Limits and Stripe (or the applicable invoicing method) to charge the amount due. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, in our courses, workshops, coaching materials, frameworks (including the Mindful Leader™ framework), downloadable resources, and the Empathy Conversation Cards is the intellectual property of Leading Beyond Limits LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Permitted Use. You may use materials only for your personal learning or internal organizational use within the scope of your purchase or engagement.
Prohibited Use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, broadcast, sell, license, or create derivative works from any Leading Beyond Limits materials without our prior written consent.
SAFe® and related marks are trademarks of Scaled Agile, Inc. and are used by Leading Beyond Limits under a partner agreement.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
• Use the Site or our services for any unlawful purpose
• Disrupt or interfere with the security or operation of the Site
• Share course access, login credentials, or paid materials with anyone else
• Record, screenshot, or distribute coaching sessions, workshop content, or proprietary materials without our written consent
• Harass, threaten, or harm other participants, facilitators, or staff
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or qualifications
We reserve the right to remove any participant from a course, workshop, coaching engagement, or community for violating these Terms, with no refund.
SMS Messaging Program
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Leading Beyond Limits related to your purchases, registrations, scheduled sessions, and (with separate consent) promotional offers. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. We do not share SMS opt-in information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. Leading Beyond Limits is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimers
Our products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, business results, certification pass rates, leadership performance, or personal transformation. Your results depend on your effort, context, and many factors outside our control.
Coaching, consulting, and workshops are developmental in nature and are not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leading Beyond Limits, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, our products, or our services.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or our products and services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Leading Beyond Limits in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leading Beyond Limits LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Informal Resolution. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@leadingbeyondlimits.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to reach a resolution within 30 days.
Venue. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Class Action Waiver. You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Entire Agreement and Severability
These Terms, together with any executed Statement of Work, Master Services Agreement, coaching agreement, or product-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Leading Beyond Limits. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
